When you install and use Go Feed, we may collect the following information from your Shopify store:

Store information: store name, URL, contact email, default country, language, and currency
Product information: product list (title, description, brand, product type), color, size, price, inventory, images, product variant details, and product Metaobject data (e.g. color-pattern from Shopify) used to enrich the product feed
Locales and markets information

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Provide the service: To provide, maintain, and improve Go Feed, generate XML feeds (including product attributes from Metaobjects such as color-pattern), and sync data to Google Merchant Center
Write permissions: Store and product write access may be used to help attach additional product images when you request support
Locales and markets: To create feed profiles for each country and language configured in Shopify, ensuring the information displayed matches your store’s actual settings

4. Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, services, or advertisers; please refer to their respective privacy policies for details and opt-out instructions.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Children’s Data

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Google Merchant Center & Third-Party Platform Disclaimer

Go Feed acts solely as a data integration and feed management tool. The App reads product data from your Shopify store, formats it according to Google Merchant Center (GMC) specifications, and submits that data to Google or generates feed files based on your configuration.

Go Feed does not control, influence, or guarantee product approval status in Google Merchant Center or any other third-party platform. All product reviews, approvals, disapprovals, suspensions, limitations, or enforcement actions are solely determined by Google in accordance with their own policies, guidelines, and automated or manual review systems.

Product disapproval or account suspension may occur due to, but is not limited to:

Violations of Google Shopping or Ads policies
Product titles, descriptions, images, or attributes deemed non-compliant
Restricted, adult, or sensitive content (including sexual content or interests)
Account-level enforcement actions, quota limitations, or policy history

Go Feed is not responsible or liable for any loss of traffic, advertising performance, revenue, account suspension, or product disapproval resulting from Google Merchant Center policy enforcement or third-party platform decisions.

It is the merchant’s responsibility to ensure that all submitted product data complies with Google’s policies. Merchants are encouraged to regularly review Google Merchant Center diagnostics, policy documentation, and enforcement notices.

By using Go Feed, you acknowledge and agree that product approval outcomes are outside the scope of Go Feed’s control and responsibility.
