GoFeed ("we", "our", or "us") provides a product feed management platform that helps merchants synchronize and optimize their product data across multiple channels, including Shopify, Google, and Facebook.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

• Email address
• User account identifiers

1.2 Shopify Store Data

When you install GoFeed, we may access:

• Product data (title, description, images, variants, pricing)
• Inventory and availability
• Store configuration data

1.3 Google Integration Data

When you connect Google services (such as Google Merchant Center), we may access:

• Google account email (basic profile information)
• Merchant Center account data
• Product feed and catalog data

We only access data necessary to provide product synchronization and feed management features.

1.4 Facebook Integration Data

When you connect your Facebook account, we collect and process:

• Facebook Business Manager ID
• Facebook Access Tokens (stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM)
• Facebook Catalog IDs
• Catalog profile configurations (country, language, currency)
• Product variant data synced to Facebook Catalogs

We only access Facebook data necessary to provide catalog creation and product synchronization features.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data strictly to:

• Synchronize product variant data between Shopify and external platforms
• Create and manage product feeds
• Upload and maintain product listings on Google Merchant Center
• Create and manage Facebook Product Catalogs on behalf of merchants
• Sync Shopify product variants to Facebook Catalogs, organized by country and language
• Provide analytics and feed optimization features
• Provide customer support

We do NOT use your data for advertising, reselling, or unrelated purposes.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

GoFeed's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only use Google user data to provide or improve user-facing features
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide our service
• We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
• We do not sell Google user data
• We do not use Google user data to train machine learning models

All access to Google data is limited to what is necessary for product feed synchronization and management.

4. Facebook (Meta) Permissions Usage

Our application requests the following Facebook permissions:

• catalog_management
  Used to create, update, and manage Facebook Product Catalogs on behalf of merchants, including uploading and syncing product variants from Shopify. Each catalog may be organized by country and language (e.g., Vietnam/vi_VN, Thailand/th_TH).
• business_management
  Used to access the merchant's Facebook Business Manager in order to create and assign catalogs. This permission is required to manage catalog assets within the merchant's own Business Portfolio.

All Facebook permissions are used solely to enable core product synchronization features of GoFeed. We do not use these permissions to access data unrelated to catalog and product management.

5. Third-party Platform Integration

GoFeed integrates with:

• Shopify
• Facebook (Meta)
• Google

We access and process data from these platforms only to:

• Synchronize product variant data
• Manage catalogs and feeds
• Enable multi-channel commerce functionality

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data.

We may share data only with:

• Google APIs (e.g., Google Merchant Center) — to upload and manage product feeds
• Facebook APIs (Meta platforms) — to create catalogs and sync product variants

This sharing is required to provide the core functionality of GoFeed. No data is shared with any other third parties.

7. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to:

• Provide our services
• Comply with legal obligations

Facebook Access Tokens: Tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM and stored securely. When you disconnect your Facebook account, all associated access tokens are immediately revoked and permanently deleted from our system.

Shopify and Google Data: When a user uninstalls the app or disconnects integrations, we will delete or anonymize their data within 30 days.

8. Data Deletion

When you uninstall GoFeed from Shopify or disconnect any integration, all associated data is automatically and permanently deleted from our system within 30 days. No manual request is required.

For earlier deletion requests or further assistance, contact us:

9. User Rights

Users have the right to:

• Access their data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of their data
• Withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting integrations

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• AES-256-GCM encryption for all stored access tokens
• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Restricted access to production systems

However, no system is completely secure. We encourage users to disconnect integrations they no longer use.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time.

Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this document. We encourage users to review this policy periodically.
